This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclosure, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered code review service (the "Service"). By using IgniteDX, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

We collect information necessary to provide our automated code review service. This includes:
- Account Information: When you connect your GitHub account, we collect your GitHub user ID and username to create your account and manage your settings.
- Repository Data: To perform code reviews, we access the code, pull request descriptions, diffs, and comments in the repositories you explicitly grant us access to via the GitHub App integration.
- Service Configurations: We store your custom instructions, preferences, and context file selections to tailor the reviews to your project's needs.
- Usage Data: We collect data on how you interact with our dashboard, including which features you use and the frequency of your reviews.
3. How We Use Your Information
The primary use of your information is to provide the Service. Specifically, we use it to:
- Authenticate your identity via GitHub.
- Analyze your code changes using Artificial Intelligence models to generate feedback.
- Display review results and statistics in your dashboard.
- Maintain and improve the performance and accuracy of our Service.
4. Code Processing and Data Retention
Code Privacy: We do not train our AI models on your private code. Your code snippets are sent to our AI providers solely for the purpose of generating the review during the active request and are not used for model training by us or our providers (subject to their enterprise data policies).
Data Retention: IgniteDX is designed with privacy in mind. When you switch the active repository in our dashboard, previously stored pull request reviews, comments, and statistics for the old repository are permanently deleted from our database. We only retain your configuration settings (specifications) to facilitate easy switching back in the future.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers to help us operate our Service:
- GitHub: For authentication and accessing your repositories (under the permissions you grant).
- Supabase: For secure database hosting and authentication services.
- AI Providers: We utilize third-party Large Language Models (LLMs) to process code and generate reviews.
6. Security of Your Information
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
